I guess loving yourself goes hand in hand with how your surroundings show you that you are loved and appreciated. It’s pretty hard if they don’t give you enough validation. I know sometimes you just need a veeerryyy simple affirmation, just sometimes, some other times, when that day hits you hard. Learning to love yourself while the world is cruel enough to push your insecurities to the limits feels like a fucking war.
